8th Pay Commission Delhi, Chennai, Puducherry meetings have all been officially notified now, giving employee associations and unions in these three locations a fresh window to present their demands directly to the Commission. If your organisation is based in Delhi, Tamil Nadu, or Puducherry and hasn't yet met the Commission in person, here are the exact dates and deadlines you need to act on.
Three separate notices were issued between 23 and 24 July 2026 โ one for each location โ and each comes with its own eligibility condition and application deadline.

Delhi Meeting โ 7 & 10 August 2026
This is the tightest deadline of the three, and it comes with a specific catch. Per the notice dated 23 July 2026, only associations, federations, or unions that meet both of these conditions can apply:
- Located or registered in Delhi
- Have already submitted their memorandum to the Commission, but haven't yet met the Commission in Delhi or in any other State/Union Territory
If your organisation has already had its stakeholder meeting elsewhere, this Delhi window isn't for you โ it's specifically meant to give a first opportunity to groups that missed earlier rounds. Eligible organisations must apply online with their Unique Memo ID by 31 July 2026. Venue and exact timing will be shared separately.
Chennai Meeting โ 7 & 8 September 2026
Per the notice dated 24 July 2026 (F No. 35/8/2026-VST/8CPC), the Commission will hold interactions in Chennai on 7th and 8th September 2026. This one is open to Organisations, Institutions, Associations, and Unions of Central Government employees based in Tamil Nadu.
To apply:
- Submit your request through the official appointment portal โ nicforms.nic.in
- Include the Unique Memo ID generated when you originally submitted your memorandum
- Do this on or before 18 August 2026
The notice, signed by Ambica Anand Chatterjee, Director of the 8th CPC, specifically asks stakeholders from States/Union Territories other than Tamil Nadu not to seek appointments during this particular visit โ separate meetings for other states are being scheduled in due course.
Puducherry Meeting โ 9 September 2026
Right after the Chennai leg, the Commission moves to Puducherry for a single day of consultations on 9th September 2026, per the notice dated 24 July 2026 (F No. 35/9/2026-VST/8CPC), signed by Smitha Mol M.S., Deputy Secretary.
This one is restricted specifically to associations and organisations located or registered in the UT of Puducherry โ the notice is explicit that it's meant only for Puducherry-based stakeholders, not for organisations representing employees from other regions.
To apply:
- Submit your online request via the appointment portal, along with your Unique Memo ID
- Complete this by 18 August 2026
What Ties All Three Together
A few things are common across all three notices:
- Unique Memo ID is mandatory โ this was generated when your organisation originally submitted its memorandum to the Commission, so you can't apply without having gone through that step first
- Venue and schedule come later โ none of the notices specify the actual meeting location or time slot; that's communicated separately after your application is accepted
- Geographic restriction is strictly enforced โ each city's meeting is meant only for stakeholders based in that specific state or union territory, and the Commission has explicitly asked others to wait for their own region's notice
If You Haven't Submitted a Memorandum Yet
None of these three windows are open to you if you don't already have a Unique Memo ID โ that only comes from having submitted a memorandum to the Commission previously. If your association hasn't done that step yet, this round of meetings isn't accessible to you regardless of location; you'd need to wait for the Commission's broader memorandum submission process to be available again, or check whether your category still has an open window.

These stakeholder interactions are where associations and unions get to make their case directly on pay structure, allowances, pensions, and service conditions โ the same areas covered under the Commission's Terms of Reference. It's a genuine opportunity to influence the final recommendations, not just a formality, which is why attendance and preparation matter if your organisation qualifies.
The Commission has also confirmed that consultations will continue rolling out to other states and union territories in the coming months, so if your region isn't covered by these three notices, expect a separate one later.
