Full Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CG Seva ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Nature of the App — Not an Official Government Service

CG Seva is an independent, unofficial application. It is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Government of India, the Ministry of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Defence, or any other government body or department. CG Seva is not an official government portal. Nothing in this App constitutes official government communication.

3. Informational Purpose Only

All content, calculations, and AI-generated responses provided through CG Seva are for informational and reference purposes only. They do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, HR advice, or official service guidance. You should not rely solely on the App for making important service decisions. Always verify with your establishment section, DDO, or official government circulars before taking any action.

4. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.

5. Information We Collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide personalised calculations: your name, department, designation, date of birth, date of joining, pay level, basic pay, city classification, and leave balances. We do NOT collect Aadhaar numbers, PAN numbers, bank account details, or any government-issued ID numbers. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

6. Accuracy and Reliability

While we strive to keep information accurate and current, CG Seva cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content. Government pay rules, allowances, and service conditions change frequently. Salary calculations shown in the App are estimates based on entered data and standard 7th CPC rules and may not reflect all local allowances, special pay, or deductions applicable to your specific posting.

7. AI Assistant

The AI assistant (powered by Google Gemini) provides information based on publicly available government rules and live search results. AI responses may contain errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies. Do not treat AI-generated responses as official, legally binding, or authoritative answers. Always cross-check with official sources before acting on AI responses.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use CG Seva for any unlawful purpose, to impersonate any person or entity, to submit false information, to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App or its systems, to use the App to harass or harm others, or to use automated tools to scrape or abuse the App's services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding of CG Seva are the intellectual property of CG Seva's developers. You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CG Seva and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from: reliance on any information in the App, errors or omissions in calculations, service interruptions, data loss, or any other matter related to use of the App. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

11. Data Deletion

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by going to Profile → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data stored in our systems will be permanently removed within 30 days. Chat history, leave records, and salary information will be completely erased.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via the App. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with the App shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
