To provide personalised salary and service calculations, we collect only:

• Your name (first and last)
• Department / ministry name
• Designation
• Employment status (working / retired)
• Date of birth and date of joining
• Pay Level and basic pay (salary figure)
• City classification (X / Y / Z city)
• Leave balances (Earned Leave, Half Pay Leave, Casual Leave)

We never ask for, store, or process any of the following sensitive information:

• Aadhaar card number or Aadhaar-linked data
• PAN card number
• Bank account number, IFSC code, or banking details
• Passport number
• GPF / NPS PRAN number
• Credit or debit card details
• Employee ID or service number (optional — not stored)
• Home address or location data
• Phone number
• Any government-issued identification number

• Your data is stored securely on Supabase (a secure, SOC 2 compliant platform) with Row Level Security — only you can access your own data.
• We use Google Sign-In for authentication. We do not store your Google password. Authentication is handled entirely by Google and Supabase.
• The profile data listed above (name, department, pay level, basic pay, leave balances, dates) is never sold or disclosed to any advertiser or data broker. It is used only to generate your own calculations. Cookies used for advertising and analytics are a separate matter and are described in the Cookies, Advertising & Analytics section below.
• AI chat conversations are processed by Google Gemini API to generate responses. Chat messages may be stored in your account history for your reference only.
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile page.

CG Seva is free to use. To cover hosting and data costs, the website displays advertising served by Google AdSense. This section explains what that means for your privacy.

Third-party advertising cookies

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and similar device identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to CG Seva and/or other sites on the internet.
• These cookies do not receive your CG Seva profile data. Your pay level, basic pay, department, leave balances and dates of birth/joining are never passed to any advertising network.
• Third-party ad networks may independently collect your IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, and pages viewed on this site.

How to opt out

• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
• To opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising generally, visit optout.aboutads.info.
• You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. CG Seva's calculators will continue to work normally.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you will be shown a consent message before any personalised advertising or analytics cookies are set. You may accept, reject, or manage your choices individually. You can change your decision at any time using the privacy / cookie settings link shown at the bottom of the page.

Visitors in the United States

The CG Seva Android app

The Android app is ad-free. The advertising described in this section applies only to the cgseva.com website.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and where visitors have difficulty. It records pages viewed, approximate location (city/country level), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. IP addresses are anonymised by Google.

Analytics data is aggregated and is never linked to your CG Seva account or profile. You can opt out site-wide using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to keep information accurate and up-to-date based on publicly available government circulars, CG Seva cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any information. Government rules change frequently, and some information may be out of date.

AI-generated responses are based on training data and live search results but may contain errors or omissions. Always cross-check with official DoPT, Finance Ministry, or your pay authority before making any service-related decisions.
