Editorial Policy

CG Seva exists to give Central Government employees, pensioners and vehicle buyers accurate, useful information. This page explains how we work.

Sources

Government stories are based on primary sources: office memorandums, gazette notifications, Cabinet decisions, PIB releases, replies in Parliament and official websites of ministries and departments. We link the source at the end of each story. Car and bike stories rely on manufacturer announcements, official price lists and our own research.

Fact-checking

Before publishing, we check figures (pay, DA rates, prices, dates) against the source document. Expected or proposed changes, such as a likely fitment factor or a DA hike before it is announced, are clearly labelled as expectations, not facts. We do not publish rumours as news.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct it as soon as we confirm the error and update the “Updated” time on the story. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the story. Report an error through our contact page.

Ethics

• We do not accept payment for news coverage.
• Advertising is clearly marked and kept separate from editorial content.
• Sponsored content, if any, is labelled “Sponsored”.
• We never ask readers for personal or banking details.

Use of AI tools

We may use AI tools to help with research, summaries or language. A human editor checks every fact and approves every story before it is published.

Bylines and dates

Every story shows who wrote it and when it was published. When we add new information, we show the updated time.
